University of Connecticut Windows Mobile Configuration

 

Step 1

Go to the following site and download the appropriate Active Sync application for your Operating system:

Step 2

Follow these instructions for Setting up "ActiveSync" on your PDA/SmartPhone:

    From the Main Screen:
  1. Select the Start Menu
  2. Select Program or ActiveSync icon
  3. Select ActiveSync
  4. Click on the link to add server source OR select Menu --> Configure Server
  5. Type in the server address:
    • exchange.uconn.edu
  6. Turn SSL " on"
  7. Select Next
  8. Type in your username:
  9. Type in your password
  10. Type in the domain:
    • uconn
  11. Select save password
  12. Select Next
  13. Select what you want to sync
  14. Select Finish
  15. Click on Sync to synchronize to the exchange server
