Entourage 2004 SP2: Data Loss?

Microsoft has discovered that a small proportion of customers who upgrade to Service Pack 2, may experience loss of Exchange email, calendar items, and/or contacts when upgrading to SP2 in Entourage 2004 for the Macintosh. This was  particularly an issue with the initial (11.2) release of SP2 and was (allegedly) resolved for customers upgrading directly to the a subsequent SP2 update (11.2.1).

In either case, if you notice any indication of data loss or corruption after upgrading to SP2, consult the following Microsoft support article for specific, step-by-step instructions. If you do no feel comfortable handling these steps on your own, or you're still not seeing your data after performing these steps, call the UITS Help Center at 486-HELP for further assistance.

After an Exchange Server mailbox is moved to a different storage group, messages in Entourage 2004 for Mac are deleted when Entourage 2004 for Mac first tries to synchronize with the moved mailbox
