Open a .pst file from a CD

Follow the steps below to open a .pst file from a CD.

NOTE: Deleted e-mail will only be stored for 14 days.

Step 1: Copy (do not "drag and drop") the .pst file from the CD to your hard drive.
Step 2: Right click on the .pst file and select Properties.
Step 3: Make sure the read-only attribute is not checked. open .pst file from CD step3
  
Step 4: Open Outlook, go to the File menu, choose Open, then Outlook data file. open .pst file from CD step4
  
Step 5: Choose the .pst file stored on the desktop, click OK.   open .pst file from CD step5
  

The folder will now appear in your Exchange mailbox. You can now click and drag the files to other folders.
